Literally means "hot mixture" or "warming spice". An all-purpose blend called for in many Northern Indian dishes, this is a rather aromatic spice that can take the place of a "yellow curry" in a stew or sauce. Made with 11 ingredients including cardamom, fenugreek, mace and Tellicherry pepper.
